Made for this life.
And another.

Hospitality furniture from teak that already lived once. Designed in a Danish tradition, made by hand in Indonesia, and built to stay in use for decades.

Why we exist

Hotels want Danish design. Then they fill the room with plastic.

Most hospitality furniture is bought, used for a few years and thrown away. We think the places that care most about how they look should also care how long their furniture lives.

So we start with teak that has already lived once, often in old joglo houses. We design every piece to ship flat, bolt together on site and be repaired part by part.

Our mission

Three Lounge Chairs and a low table on a stone terrace in a garden

Second lives

Our wood has stories.

Before it was furniture, our wood held up houses, carried people across rivers and rode the waves. Where our wood comes from

Old house beams stacked on gravel, with the joinery holes from their first life still in them

Once a family home in Java

Teak pillars that held up a joglo for generations, now holding up your guests.

Black-and-white photograph of heavy old bridge beams stacked in a timber shed, their sizes written in chalk on the cut ends

Once a bridge over a river

Wood that carried people across the water for decades.

Once a fishing boat

Wood that rode the waves, now taking it easy by the pool.

Another material.
Another owner.
Another place.
Another life.

Teak that already lived once, made into furniture that can outlast the room it was bought for.

Furniture worth keeping.

How we build

Three things every piece does.

01 / 03
01

Reclaimed

Teak that already lived once, often in old joglo houses. Far too good to waste.

02

Burned and oiled

An old Japanese technique, moved to a harder wood and a hotter climate. Finished with natural oil.

03

Made to be rebuilt

Ships flat, bolts together on site and comes apart again whenever it needs to.

Our mission

Reuse beats recycling.

A bottle that gets refilled does more good than one that gets melted down. Furniture works the same way: the longer a piece stays in use, the less needs to be made again.

That idea shapes everything we design, and where we want to go next.
